Terms and Conditions

Draft pending legal review — do not rely on this text until it is approved.

1. Definitions

شركة كليك رنت كار للخدمات التكنولوجية (“the Platform”) is an online intermediary for browsing and requesting rental cars from ClickRent or partner rental companies. The rental agreement is made between the renter and the relevant rental provider.

2. Renter eligibility

The renter must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving licence and valid national ID or residency permit. Information provided must be accurate. The provider may refuse handover if requirements are not met.

3. Booking and confirmation

A booking request is not confirmed until approved by the rental provider or administration. Pending requests are automatically cancelled after 24 hours if not confirmed.

4. Prices and VAT

Prices are in Saudi riyals. VAT at 15% and selected optional extras are added as applicable. Any refundable deposit is shown during booking.

5. Renter responsibilities

Follow traffic laws. The renter is responsible for fines during the rental period, must care for the vehicle, return it at the agreed time and place, and promptly report accidents or faults.

6. Cancellation and refunds

The cancellation and refund policy published on its dedicated page applies.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia, and its competent courts have jurisdiction over disputes.

8. Role of the platform and rental company

ClickRent acts as an intermediary to display offers and manage booking requests unless expressly stated otherwise. The partner rental company hands over the vehicle, signs the local rental contract, and sets eligibility, insurance and deposit conditions. The provider and its specific terms must be shown before confirmation.

9. Availability and vehicle matching

Prices and availability are updated by rental companies. A request is not final confirmation until a confirmation notice is shown. If the vehicle cannot be supplied, a suitable alternative may be offered or the request cancelled, with funds handled under the refund policy.

10. Payments and fees

Rental price, VAT, optional fees and refundable deposit are shown separately before submission. Only payment methods shown on the booking page are available. Pay-at-branch means paying branch staff at pickup and obtaining a receipt. Electronic payment is not active unless a connected gateway and successful payment confirmation are shown.

11. Deposit, insurance and mileage

The rental company may require a refundable deposit, payment card or specific insurance coverage. Mileage limits, excess, coverage and extras vary by offer and local contract; review the vehicle details and contract before pickup.

12. Pickup, return and delays

The renter must arrive on time and present the original valid ID and driving licence. Fees may apply for delays, extensions, return at another branch, delivery or service outside business hours according to terms disclosed by the provider before approval.

13. Accidents, fines and breakdowns

In case of an accident or breakdown, contact the rental company and relevant authorities promptly. Do not arrange unauthorised repairs. Responsibilities for fines, fuel and documented damage are determined by the contract, insurance policy and applicable law.

14. Complaints and support

Complaints can be submitted through the platform’s published support channels with the booking reference and supporting documents. The platform will seek to follow up with the relevant company without limiting statutory customer rights.

15. Updates to terms

These terms may be updated when necessary. The version shown at booking applies to that request, subject to applicable law and consumer rights. Material changes must be disclosed before booking completion.
